Professional Experience

Mr. Navarro joined the firm in 2002 following employment with Gardere Wynne Sewell in Dallas, Texas. Prior to attending law school, Mr. Navarro was a manager in the securities brokerage division at USAA Investment Management Company and has held various NASD securities licenses. During his employment with USAA, Mr. Navarro also served as an Adjunct Professor at the Incarnate Word University.

Mr. Navarro maintains an active practice with an emphasis on oil and gas litigation and oil and gas related transactions.

In the litigation context, Mr. Navarro has represented landowners / mineral owners, working interest owners, drilling contractors, oil field service companies, pipeline companies as well as operators in litigation involving lease termination disputes, pipelines, surface use and surface damages, title disputes, the underpayment of royalties and general oil and gas lease disputes in venues throughout Texas, including Pecos, Reeves, Terrell, Ector, Odessa, Medina, Bexar, Atascosa, Duvall, McMullen, Live Oak, Karnes, Lavaca, Gonzales Hidalgo, Brooks, Wilson, Frio, Live Oak, LaSalle, Dimmit, Edwards, Webb, Zapata, Lee and Victoria Counties.

Mr. Navarro also focuses on the representation of operators and land and mineral interest owners in the negotiation of oil and gas leases, pipeline easements, joint operating agreements, and surface use agreements.

He also has extensive experience is general business litigation, landlord and tenant disputes, real estate litigation, and commercial and residential construction litigation.
