Garza Selected as Top 100 Litigator

Rudy Garza, an HF&G shareholder, has been selected to “America’s Top 100 High Stakes Litigators,” for Southern Texas. Less than 1% of professionals in the United States are selected for membership. According to the website, “to be considered for selection, an attorney must have litigated (for either plaintiff or defendant) a matter (1) with at least $2,000,000 in alleged damages at stake or (2) with the fate of a business worth at least $2,000,000 at stake (i.e. bet-the-company litigation valued in excess of $2,000,000).”

Members of the Top 100 High Stake Litigators are “initially identified through third-party research or peer nominations by other elite attorneys in the community.” Nominated candidates are carefully screened and all qualifying data are evaluated using a “multi-criteria decision making” algorithm. The data may include a candidate’s lifetime achievements, professional experience, significant cases, peer reputation, client satisfaction and more.
