Professional Experience
Mr. Reed joined the firm in 2017 having practiced law in San Antonio, Texas with Coats Rose, P.C. focusing on the representation of owners of real estate developments and general contractors in the construction industry, and with Goldman & Associates, PLLC, specializing in insurance defense litigation. He brings extensive experience in contract drafting, negotiation, review, and risk analysis.
Mr. Reed primarily concentrates his practice around the representation of developers, assisting clients with all aspects of real estate development from acquisition through financing and construction of improvements to suit the end users, leasing and the ultimate disposition of the property.
Mr. Reed is a San Antonio native, and a veteran of the United States Marine Corps. He enjoys big game and waterfowl hunting, in addition to saltwater fly and conventional tackle fishing.
Educational Activities
Mr. Reed received his B.A. Magna Cum Laude from the University of Texas at San Antonio, and his J.D. from St. Mary’s University School of Law, where he Co-Authored an article for St. Mary’s Law Journal and served as the Student Bar Association Liaison to the State Bar of Texas.
Professional Activities
Mr. Reed was recently listed as a 2017 Best San Antonio Lawyer by SA Scene Magazine. He is also a member of the San Antonio Bar Association Real Estate Section, the State Bar of Texas and Texas Young Lawyers Association. Additionally, Mr. Reed is a Co-Chair of the San Antonio Zoo Fund-A-Need Committee, as well as a member of the Texas Deer Association.
