Sheehan Joins SA2020 Board

Ty Hunter Sheehan, an HFG shareholder, was named as a member of the SA2020 Board of Directors. He joins other noted community leaders dedicated to the purpose and mission of the organization.

SA2020 is a non-profit entity assembled to turn the SA2020 Vision into a reality. In 2010, thousands of San Antonio residents, business leaders, and government officials developed comprehensive objectives for San Antonio. This vision for how the city should be in the year 2020 has become a significant effort and one which is carefully tracked by the organization.

The SA2020 Vision encompasses eleven “Cause Areas” related to improving life in the Alamo City: Arts & Culture, Civic Engagement, Community Safety, Downtown Development, Economic Competitiveness, Education, Environmental Sustainability, Family Well-Being, Health & Fitness, Neighborhoods, and Transportation. According to Mr. Sheehan, “the collective efforts of the community toward the goals of the SA2020 vision will undoubtedly ensure its success.”

“I feel honored and privileged to contribute to this effort,” added Mr. Sheehan. “I’m looking forward to working with civic groups, individuals and businesses, and to see the end results.”
